The 5th Grade Essay Contest was created to encourage writing abilities in 5th Grade Students. It is also a wonderful way for students to show appreciation and love for the important older people in their lives, be they grandparents or someone close who enhances their life on a daily basis.
After a while of hard work and dedication in 5th grade classes across Staten Island, students and their schools submitted their essays to Tom Crimmins Realty's Annual 5th Grade Essay Contest. Following the submission of hundreds of essays from many schools both public and private, all essays were thoughtfully reviewed by our agents and staff.
Fifth grade students are expected to master and utilize many skills when developing and writing essays. Cassini Scientist for a Day Essay Contest Students grades 5 to 12 write an essay of up to 500 words, with winning schools invited to participate in a teleconference with Cassini scientists.
All Florida elementary schools are asked to hold an essay contest among their 5th grade students. Each school must choose one “School Winner” to submit to the Essay Contest Coordinator. Participants should develop their thoughts into an essay no longer than one (1) typewritten or two (2) handwritten pages.

Fifth grade students at eligible public schools enter by submitting a short essay describing how he or she will help improve our community. Applications will be reviewed by staff at WRIC-TV, with winners selected based on the best answers to the essay question.
The fourth grade is the one that has been designated by state educational authorities to emphasize the study of California history. As an incentive to encourage students in this grade to develop a particular interest in the subject, and to encourage them to improve their writing skills, about one-third of our parlors sponsor essay contests for fourth grade students.
